The person with Alzheimer's Disease may become excessively upset or exhibit rapidly changing moods. Sometimes they will repeatedly complain, accuse and insult which leads to arguments and catastrophic reactions (e.g., screaming, crying, throwing things).
Possible Underlying Causes:
Inability to perform task; too much confusion in home; too much stimulation (e.g., people, questions); forgetfulness leading to unreasonable suspiciousness.
